Hawk

... so Lauren comes up to the bedroom and says, "There is a beautiful hawk on the tree outside our kitchen window, and I can't get a good photo because of the window's screen". So I went downstairs, put a long zoom lens on one of our cameras, handed it to her, and she goes out onto the patio to take some pictures. I caution her to move slowly and quietly so as to not spook the bird and cause it to fly away. She comes back a few minutes later saying "That bird isn't going anywhere"
The bird appears to be a young Cooper's hawk.
